First of all, this is my favorite blog-post title in all of my posts ever.
Second, I found an awesome entertainment blog that I had lost ages ago and am so excited to have found again: The Superficial. A couple days ago they reported on a story where Paris H. had sex in a porta potty...awesome. From the post:
"Now, for a regular person, this might be a little gross and wrong, but it's Paris Hilton. So I am neither shocked nor appalled. In fact, she could crawl out of a circus elephant's ass, sweaty and naked, hand in hand with Tom Arnold, and it really wouldn't bother me. I wouldn't even tell the children at the circus to avert their eyes. By this point, Paris Hilton being disgusting is just one of those wonders of nature, like when a caterpillar turns into a rabid vagina that eats your face."

I have found two websites that are endless entertainment for people who like to feel better about themselves by demeaning celebrities. I could go on and on about how great it makes me feel to see people who are famous who regularly dress and/or look worse than me...but I won't. These are sites that seriously make me feel ok about the fact that I don't work out enough, I don't shop at the trendiest stores and I'm always waiting way too long for hair cuts and eyebrow waxes.
Enjoy Fugly Girls and Awful Plastic Surgery.

I'm on the hunt for information. Lots of it. I want everything that anyone knows about siezures in dogs. I want the internet to function like the web of information that it is and I want it to bring me the answers I need.
My dog is my best friend and she's having siezures and I really don't want to put her on sedatives. Anyone that's met her will tell you that one of the best things about Syd is her lack of sedation. If anyone knows anything that is helpful please email me. I'm not having a lot of luck on the information superhighway so any help is definitely appreciated.
Update: Syd's doing well. Blood tests are all good. My vet says that as long as she doesn't have another siezure in the next 3 months we don't have to put her on drugs. So that's good.

I hate stupid people. Seriously. I have a really hard time dealing with them. I'm not talking about people who are you know, "disabled" in some way and can't help it. I'm talking about people who are just dull, dumb, ignorant and uninformed and have chosen to stay that way. I know I've got my own blinders: I usually swing to the left of moderate and tend to not believe what the president says most of the time. However, at least I make an effort to learn a little bit about the world before I rant about it.
Anyway, my point is that despite how much stupid people annoy the crap out of me, this video really cracked me up. Thanks Martin!

Up until today I had an average of about 10 people hitting my site on a daily basis. I could name them all. About 1/3 were family. Now, well, my famous boyfriend mentioned me on his site and it jumped to about 300 today...and it's not even noon!
To answer some questions I've been receiving...Yes, I'm very proud of him. And yes, I am a saint for putting up with him.
That's cool and all but all of a sudden I'm getting emails from total strangers and I suddenly have this nervous "oh my god my site has to be awesome now!' feeling. It's like my house...most of the time it's just my close friends and family that ever see it and in general I like it and it's basically clean. All of a sudden we've got a party at my place with a bunch of strangers and I haven't even scrubbed the toilet bowl! I can hear my wonderful jewish mom sighing with a "Oh my dear, that's why I always keep a clean house. I thought I'd taught you well..."
So, ahem... make yourselves at home, have fun reading my political rants, my interesting news, my entertainment fluff and the cute pictures of puppies.
Oh, and if you want to read some sites that are way cooler than mine check out my friends list to the left.

After so many years at Real I honestly didn't think I'd see this day. I'm impressed and surprised and hopeful for what these two companies can/might/should create. I'm still really glad I left there, in case you're wondering, but I want to send some extra special congratulations to the folks I know who had a hand in this deal and fought the fights to make it happen. That's truly awesome and very exciting.
Check out this press release for the whole scoop. Props to the new home page too!
